Very friendly and knowledgeable. Have done a few jobs for me and I'm very happy with their work and reasonable prices. Today they sorted a cable inner that had frayed and become trapped in the shifter. I rang this morning, took the bike in after lunch and although a very fiddly job it was sorted while I waited. Great service. Highly recommended.
Brilliant lads down there. Always helpful. Was quoated 180 by a big chain company to replace my shifter. Turns out is was a frayed cable jamming the shifter, which was replaced in 20mins. I always go there for anything bike related.
Wow.. very rude man .. Just called to enquire about selling my bike.. a brand new adult ladies bike given as an xmas gift from my company. As soon as I asked about selling my bike he literally shouted 'Not kids bikes... we're not buying them' .. I kind of stammered a bit I was so taken aback and without giving me a chance to say it was a an adults bike or anything else. He just barked .. not intrested K, bye and put the phone down!
Not impressed-took my bike in with a "clunk" coming from the cranks.Guy looked it over and said " dont worry,we will find and fix it".Received a text 2 days later to say all sorted-changed headset bearings and BB bearing at a cost of 68.Jumped on to ride home only to find the exact same problem still happening.Took the bike back and this time, the guy took it for a ride and said its coming from the drive train(so they obviously didnt do this the first time of asking!!!)...To be fair to him,he cracked on and 2 hours later found the problem to be the split link on my chain.Fitted a new one and aforementioned clunk vanished(so the 68 bearing change obviously wasnt the' cause of the problem, but never mind eh??).Took my bike out for the first time since being "repaired" only to find the chain jumping off the cassette on every revolution.Upon checking, found one of the links has spread and I will now require a new chain. So all in all,68 to unneccessarily change 2 bearings and now I need a new chain. Can hardly recommend them after this can I??
The advice on the phone, even when a sale isn't made, is incredible. They really provide superb service. Fully recommended.
