Excellent service every time. Very well organised surgery. Drs and practice nurse brilliant. Have always been able to access a Dr or nurse appointment for me or my family when needed.
When you telephone for an appointment you get put on hold whilst they deal with patients who are standing in front of them, then they tell you that they havent got any appointments for the day nor the next day but if you look online they have appointments available!If you get put on hold then you get so irritated with the music that it sounds more like you are listening to sonar!Since Drs Jolly, Pritchard and Stigglebiut are no longer at the surgery I feel that the standards have dropped well below par!Dr Hedges prefers to use psychology so my advice is to give him bypass and Im not talking about a heart bypass.Dr Stigglebiuts daughter is good but unfortunately she is only there once a week, I cant advise about the other doctors as Ive not been to see them because you cant get an appointment!It is not worth complaining to the practice manager because all you get is excuses or told if youre not happy then find yourself another practice.The reception staff can occasionally be a bit rude with their arrogant and ignorant attitude!I once had a bit of an argument with a member of staff at the local pharmacy who said that my prescription was not there, even though I had checked at the surgery beforehand who had informed me that the prescriyhad been taken to the pharmacy.After the argument at the pharmacy, another member of staff had found the prescription and I had even been threatened to be banned from the pharmacy (something that the staff member couldnt do because only the manager can ban me as I have checked).Anyway after getting my prescription I had gone into the surgery as my father was in there and I was told by the receptionist that I owed the pharmacy staff an apology and that I had to go to apologise.This argument had nothing at all to do with the receptionist and I really should have complained to the health board because it clear that the receptionist and the pharmacy staff are discussing me and my business which is clearly in breach of patient confidentiality and the data protection act.
